Representatives of 15 territorial communities from all over Ukraine visited NOVO

On April 7, 2025, at the initiative and with the support of long-term partners of the Institution - Lviv Regional Institution "Warrior's House" and the First Women's Veteran Space "Rehab" - representatives of 15 territorial communities from all corners of Ukraine visited the NOVO Medical Center.

Oleksandr Maksymchuk, President of the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine and Chairman of the NOVO Supervisory Board, and Taras Lysak, Director of the Center, spoke to the guests about the establishment of the Medical Center, its development, charitable initiatives, and the expansion of interaction capabilities.

The guests were introduced to the diagnostic equipment of the Charitable Foundation "Center for Medical Innovations" and received detailed information about the operating principles of magnetic resonance and computed tomography scanners, ultrasound diagnostic devices, equipment for endoscopic examinations, and more.

During the visit, special attention was given to the charitable activities of the NOVO Medical Center, which the Institution has been pursuing for nearly 11 years. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Center has expanded its efforts to provide free and discounted examinations to socially vulnerable groups, including:

• Internally displaced persons from areas of active combat and other regions of Ukraine;
• Participants in hostilities and war veterans;
• Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine undergoing treatment in military hospitals in Lviv;
• Servicemen undergoing rehabilitation at partner Centers of the NOVO Medical Center;
• Family members of military personnel missing under special circumstances, and others.

The exchange of ideas on creating and operating a space to provide medical diagnostic assistance to all who need it is extremely valuable for NOVO. Support for communities and practical models of interaction with veterans and their families are particularly relevant now, as the effectiveness of joint efforts primarily depends on the practical implementation of technological processes that aid Ukrainians in rehabilitation and rapid recovery.

The long-standing charitable activities of the NOVO Medical Center serve as a vivid example of coordinated efforts in shaping a healthy future for Ukraine.
